Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who had been both an athlete and captain of the 2012 Fierce Five as well as the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. At the 2012 Olympics she was awarded gold on both the team floor as well as the individual events. The bronze was won with her balance bar. She was the first American to have won the most medals at an Olympics. In 2016, the Olympics saw her win gold in the team event. This earned both she as well as Gabby the honor of being the only Americans ever to win consecutive gold medals for a team. Additionally, she won silver medals for the all-around individual event and in floor exercise. Between the two Olympics she took a break from competitive gymnastics for three years. Additionally, she was a member of two gold-winning American gymnastics squads. As a young girl when she started to study gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is floor workouts. Aly has a strong support for the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who died due to cancer. She plans to pursue a career as a designer. She hopes to pursue expanding her trademark line of leotards. The book she is working on is titled Fierce that will be released later this year.
